Pádraig Ó Nualláin

Pádraig Ó Nualláin is a traditional singer from Dublin who sings in Irish and English, with a keen interest insocial history. He is a graduate of Ceoltóir, HND in traditional music at Ballyfermot College of Higher Education. His previous work includes song performance and visual presentations detailing the stories behind the songs. His repertoire includes Dublin songs 18th to 20th century, which he has performed at Arthurs, Na Píobairí Uilleann, The Mansion House, City Hall and in various libraries around Dublin. He has also performed songs of the 18th century for the Jonathan Swift Festival at the Christ Church Cathedral music room and delivered a visual presentation and songs and tales, of murders, executions, hauntings and grave robbing at the Soul Noir Arts Festival. He sang two tracks on the ‘New Songs from Old Stories’ album by Sandie Purcell and contributed backing vocals on Francy Devine’s album ‘An Ownerless Corner Of Earth’.

He regularly performs at “An Góilín” traditional singers session at the Teachers club and at “The Night Before Larry Got Stretched” traditional singers sessions at The Cobblestone.
